What is an effective way to challenge false charges of car rental / charges / blatant rip offs?

My girlfriend and I rented from National Car Rental during our vacation. The customer service was horrible, dirty vehicles and false accusations ridiculous. We spent in excess of $ 400 after the facts, only because he had credit card and could, I suppose, do what they wanted. There are a multitude of complaints on the web. People with similar experiences. Before wasting time trying to get any adjustment …… Has anyone actually been lucky struggling with these thieves?

Contact your card company credit used to pay the car. File a complaint of fraudulent charges against them …. also file with the BBB. I never had this problem but never rented of them. Good luck .. Hope you get your money back.
