Exotic Rental Cars That Fit Your Personality in Las Vegas, NV

Question about driving from Los Angeles to Las Vegas?

I’m an East Coast guy who take a rare vacation out West in early November. I’ll think I’ll drive a rental car from LA to Las Vegas to see as much as I can.

My question: Is it worth it to divert through Death Valley? If so, which way should I go? I know I won’t see all of it, but I want to get a sense of what it looks like.

My tentative plan is to take I-15 north to near Hesperia, then taking 395 north to near Ridgecrest, then 178 east to 190 east through Death Valley Junction and on to Pahrump. From there, I’ll pick up NV-160 east and follow the bright lights to Sin City. My plan is to leave around 10am on a Monday, hoping to miss the bulk of rush hour traffic.

I don’t want to make the drive an all-day endeavor, but I’m not in a hurry either. Within these parameters, can anyone improve upon my plan? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Yeah, I’d just stay on the I-15. Baker has all the Death Valley ambience that you need. Go eat at Bob’s Big Boy and watch the world’s tallest thermometer.

Cheapest Flight/Car Rental Option?

Looking for cheapest flight and car rental option for December 11th – December 23rd
From Spokane, WA to Las Vegas, NV , then need to rent car in Vegas to get to Lake Havasu City, AZ then possibly drop the rental car off same day and then rent one on 22nd or 23rd to drive back to Vegas on 23rd and return car then fly back to Spokane, WA

Southwest seems to be the cheapest way to fly… I’m not sure about a car.

Las Vegas Car Rental Hertz?

I'm going to Vegas tomorrow, and I'm renting a full – size Hertz car. I was told to travel in transport in Terminal 1 and 2 (a, I guess) which I am transporting the car rental center. I have a quick – Lunch at the airport so that I do not have to spend much time waiting, but I'm worried I might miss the shuttle. How do the shuttles? Do not leave w / me or do not have? How long to wait? How How often arrive at the airport to pick me up?

No worry. Go ahead and have lunch if desired. However, there are a lot of choices for eating well at the airport. If I were you, I would wait until I got to the city for lunch. The car rental buses do not expect you. However, running continuously for the day. If you miss one, just wait – the next will be getting in a few minutes. All you have to do is look for signs that you head to the ferry wait for the sign, and climbing.
