What costs are there for owning your car wash business?
Im doing a project on starting a car wash and i need to do the break even point on it and need the costs. I know there is rent, water, supplies (i guess water is supplies), employees, and what esle?
if you do a self serve car wash – Equipment prices are 1/100th of the cost of a full service car wash – or less and no employees needed
a change machine that you need to refill daily and empty out the coin boxes
electricity – maybe gas for if you have hot wax or hot water washing

I’m 24, can I rent a car in New York, New Jersey or, Connecticut?
I’m flying into JFK, where I’m from you have to be 25 to rent a car, and I’m 24. I’m visiting Harvard and Yale and would prefer to get a rental car if I can get one. First, can I get a rental car in NYC at 24? If not, can I get one in New Jersey or Connecticut?

B. Driving Age: The minimum age to rent a vehicle at most locations in the United States and Canada is 21 years of age. Please refer to the Local Policies for specific information on driver ages at the location where you intend to rent and the applicable charge for drivers 21 to 24 years of age.
Originally I went to Thrifty who has the same policy as Dollar, but the website at JFK said Thrifty does not operate at JFK and they referred me to dollar.
What you really need to do is go to the car rental websites and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to the fine print. They all have a small list of site options and “Policies” or “General Policies” are among them. Click there.
What it will eventually come down to is you calling the company at that precise location and confirming they follow the national policy of letting 21-24 year olds rent a car. You will pay an extra fee of up to $40 per day. They will also run a DMV check on your driving record.

I would start with the bigger companies first like……..
Enterprise, Avis, Budget, Hertz and so on.
