Italy Car Rental Rent A Car Italy Cheap Deals
Can you recommend a cross boarder Car Hire Company (Italy to France)?
Hi!
I am wanting to hire a car in January that I can take from Italy to France – can anyone please suggest a company that will allow people to do this? And anyone with experiance of this kind of cross country car hire can you give me any money saving tips?
With thanks!!!!
All the major international companies include use throughout the EU countries.
I live near the Spanish border. Many holidaymakers fly into Spain and rent there when visiting my part of France (car hire, fuel, alcohol and tobacco are all cheaper in Spain).
It is expensive to rent in one country and drop it off in another as someone has to drive it back for you.
Save money by changing cars near the border (and crossing by foot, bus, train) if you need an international drop off.
If collecting from an airport served by Ryanair, book a Hertz car through the Ryanair web site. Even if you are not flying Ryanair check their flight codes to get the discount.

Belfast is closed on Sundays?
I am planning a trip to Belfast and then to Dublin for my partners 30th birthday. He has always wanted visit the Giants Causeway! I'm struggling to plan three days, I was thinking a day in the city of Belfast then rent a car and drive to the coast. Is everything closed in Belfast on Sunday? Can anyone recommend somewhere nice to visit something special to do while there? Thank You – welcomed to all suggestions, please!
Belfast is open Sundays from 1pm – 6pm. Be sure to visit Victoria Square and climb to the top for a view Belfast. You can also visit St Georges Market, not far from downtown Victoria. Definitely rent a car and travel along the coast of Antrim (pick up signals from Larne coastal route), which takes you to the Giant's Causeway. The scenery is incredible. Also worth a trip early in the morning (in my opinion) is the peninsula Ard (morning 'arm' protruding from the eastern part of Northern Ireland) you can take a ferry across Strangford to Portaferry a few kilos and Practical travel leaves you in the mountains of Mourne, Silent Valley, Newcastle (John Macs chip shop is a favorite of ours!) Also check Mauds cream ice (choccy bear is another favorite!)
